Betty Kyallo started as an intern at KTN and rose to the rank of senior news anchor.
She was best known for anchoring the 9 PM news on Fridays, dubbed Fridays Briefing, a show in which she anchored the news and interviewed various guests.
Various guests who graced the show include Don Moen, Babu Owino, Khaligraph Jones, MC Jessy, Prezzo, Zari Hassan, Nyashinski, Collins Injera among others.
Betty held her last show on August 3rd, 2018, after being on the station for approximately 8 years.
K24 TV (Mediamax Network Limited)
Betty later joined K24 in August 2018 and appeared live on December 7th, 2018.
She had a show called Weekend With Betty, which aired on Fridays and Saturdays.
Every Friday, Weekend with Betty featured a segment called Up Close with Betty that focused on human-interest stories and the “day-in-the-life” of celebrities and inspirational people.
She hosted various guests from Entrepreneurs, politicians, musicians, media personalities etc, such as Khaligraph Jones, Samidoh, Bensoul, Terrence Creative, Shaffie Weru, Vivian, Arrow Bwoy, Brenda Jons, Babu Owino, Bahati, John Lonyangapuo, DJ Shiti, Mercy Masika, Fena Gitu, Gilad, Njugush among others.
Every Saturday, Betty, alongside Shaffie Weru, Shila Kwamboka and Valentine Njoroge, hosted a segment discussing current political issues and life issues.
Betty Kyallo later left the show on May 30th, 2020.

Betty Kyallo later made a TV comeback, being unveiled as TV 47 News Reporter on May 3rd, 2024, after nearly 4 years.
She hosts a show called “This Friday with Betty” every Friday at 9 PM, and another called “Say What?” every Saturday at 9 PM.
Every Friday, she reports the news, then sits down for interviews with various public figures, including politicians, entrepreneurs, comedians, artistes, and entertainers.
Betty has hosted various guests, including Eddie Butita, Michelle Ntalami, Dr. Ofweneke, Hon. Jalang’o, The Bahatis (Diana Marua & Bahati), Juacali, Pritty Vishy, Amber Ray, Eric Omondi, Hon. Peter Salasya among others.
On Saturdays, she hosts a roundtable discussion on topics ranging from relationships to social media and current affairs.
