She was named among the BBC’s 100 most inspirational and innovative women of 2017.
Other Kenyans in the list include of Media Personality Adelle Onyango and Social Entrepreneur Naomi Mwaura.
- Best Dressed Media Personality of the Year
Anita bagged the award of Best Dressed Media Personality of the Year in Kenya at the 2017 Pwani International Fashion Week & Awards (PIFWA).
Other nominees in the same category were Musician Willy Paul, Bashka the model, Media Personality Betty Kyallo, Musician Otile Brown, DJ Sadic, Media Personality Jamal Gadaffi and Actor Luwi Capello.

She won the Best Dressed Female Media Personality in Africa award at the 2017 edition of the Abryanz Style & Fashion Awards (ASFA), held in Kampala, Uganda.
