Betty Kyallo has won various awards and received numerous accolades, such as:-
- Best Media Personality of the year (2017 OLX SOMA Awards)
Betty won the Best Media Personality of the Year award during the 2017 OLX SOMA Awards.
She defeated the likes of Adelle Onyango, Amina Abdi Rabar, Carol Radull and Jeff Koinange to bag the award.
- Journalist of the Year (2018 KOT Awards)
She won the 2018 KOT (Kenyans on Twitter) award for the KOT Journalist of the Year category by 54.4%.
The other worthy contenders in the categories were Timothy Otieno (19%), Oliver Mathenge (15.2%) and Marvin Gakunyi (11.4%).
- Most Influential Young Female (Avance Media – 2019)
Betty Kyallo was voted the 2019 Most Influential Young Female in Kenya on the 2019 100 Most Influential Young Kenyans list, courtesy of Avance Media.
Njugush was the overall winner on the list, alongside Kenyan teacher Peter Tabichi, musician and rapper King Kaka, Footballers Victor Wanyama and Michael Olunga, Radio Presenter Adelle Onyango, activist Boniface Mwangi, and entrepreneur Anerlisa Muigai.
- TV/Online Influencer of the year (ADIA20)
Betty won TV/Online Influencer of the year at the 2020 Africa Digital Influencer Awards.
Other nominees in the same categories were Amina Abdi Rabar, Yvonne Okwara, Jeff Koinange, Jalang’o and Carol Radull.
Other winners in different categories included Flaqo Raz, who bagged the Africa Digital Influencer of the Year, Best Use of Video went to Jacky Vike alias Awinja, and Maxine Wabosha received the Woman Lifestyle Influencer of the Year award.
At the same time, Crazy Kennar won both Comedian Influencer of the Year and Go Beyond Influencer of the Year awards among other winners.
